A revolutionary way of bathing..;)
I hate taking showers. Prefer baths, as in using the dipper..not long baths,it's way too time consuming.
For one,the water pressure is always so low. And I cant get all parts of my body wet at the same time. I dread getting my legs used to the cold water and then slowly bringing the shower head to my arms and body. It's so cold!!!
Unless of course, the tropical weather proves too much. Then the cold water doesnt make me shudder and stutter.
I guess i could just stand under the shower and get wet at one go. But the thought of cold water scares me.
Morning showers are fine, coz i use warm/hot water. But not the evening ones.Coz its stupid to shower with hot water in the middle of the day..right?
Over these hols, I've discovered a perfect way to take a bath. Yes, I have plenty of time in my hands.
I fill a pail with almost boiling water (a lil more heat and i'll be in the hospital for second degree burns, thats how hot it is)
Using the cedok, I douse myself, feeling the tingles all over.
If it was totally silent, I swear I'll be able to hear my cells scream for mercy!
Shampoo, soap and condition, then continue scalding till i can't feel myself no more.
For the grand finale, I fill the dipper with cold tap water, and without testing the heat,(or rather, the absence of heat. Coz in chemistry, cold doesnt exist.Cold is the absence of heat.Ha!)
I hold the dipper above my head. Closing my eyes, and anticipating the shock, I tilt the cedok!Aaahhhh!
There. I finish my bath with a sadistic shrug and a smile of content.
You should try it, the shock is amazingly refeshing. Biologically, you've opened( i will not say killed) your cells and cuticles with the hot water, cleaned it with soap or whatever, and closed it with cold water. Take it from a science student who cant get enough of experiments..
Medically proven!Hehehhe....Until,of course, someone threatens to sue me!
